
5 April 1746: With Blair Castle secured and resupplied and the Jacobites withdrawing north, Prince Frederick of Hesse-Cassel left Moulinearn with the Hessian infantry and hussars and marched back to Dunkeld. The dragoons were sent to Delvine, where the horses were put out to pasture.1
